What is a Landing Page?

Landing pages get to the point. They focus on a call to action (CTA) It’s where a conversion takes place, which means that someone will make a purchase, sign-up, or register. A landing page has ONE link as opposed to a homepage, which has multiple links.

What should a landing page include?

  • a clear & compelling headline

  • focused and concise content (Highlight key benefits with bullet points.)

  • a call to action, also known as a CTA, such as “Contact us”, “Download now”, or something similar. Be sure to place it above the fold, so that it can be seen easily.

  • an optimized form requesting only the most essential info

  • visuals of the highest quality

  • social proof (testimonials, reviews, customer logos—with permission)

  • a design that is mobile-friendly
